Liana Grobbelaar

Liana is a registered dietitian practicing in a large interdisciplinary clinical team at the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology, in Houghton Johannesburg. After qualifying from the North-West University, she furthered her knowledge in diabetes by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes through the University of South Wales. Her passion is the effective communication of complex and sensitive information about chronic conditions and dietary matters to people who would benefit from this. Other areas of interest in diabetes care include the use of technology in the management of diabetes and Liana has vast experience in the use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Insulin Pump Therapy.
