Anytime CT3 Terms and Conditions
This product is strictly only to be used by persons over the age of 18. Although this device has been thoroughly tested and has obtained certification from SAHPRA, it is always important to remember that all continuous glucose monitors provide a delayed reading when compared to the standard capillary blood glucose tests (“finger prick test”). As a result, should you notice that your glucose levels have risen or fallen rapidly, or should you present with symptoms which do not correlate to the reading being provided by the CT3 device, you should immediately perform a finger prick test as this will give you a real-time reading of your blood glucose levels. This device is not intended to replace the finger prick test, nor is it intended to be used independent of the finger prick test. It is essential to periodically conduct a finger prick test to ensure that the readings provided by the continuous glucose monitor matches the results from the finger prick test, as this is the most accurate form of testing available. No continuous glucose monitor should ever be considered a replacement of the finger prick test, nor have they been designed to obviate the need for a finger prick test at all. These devices are to be used in conjunction with periodic finger prick testing to ensure accuracy and to prevent reliance on a faulty device or incorrect reading. It is recommended that you consult your treating physician when using a continuous glucose monitor as it is intended for general use and may not take into account your individual medical conditions or circumstances.
